Recently I have been very interested in cooking more things and trying different foods. I don't know if i just wanted to blog about it or I just want to cook more than usual. Either way I will blog about it and I will cook more. My mom has been getting me a lot of cookbooks and I was looking through one and I found Chicken Piccata. At the time I had no clue what Chicken Piccata was so I asked my mom and she told me it is "Chicken covered in breadcrumbs and baked til there so delicious you take one look at them and you have to eat it all up." after that I HAD to make them . Me and my sous chef (my mom ironically named Susie) began making the Chicken Piccata. The cookbook I used was Barefoot Contessa At Home by Ina Garten. Wasn't a very hard recipe. I had done everything before at least once or twice. But the result was AMAZING! The chicken was moist but not too moist and the sauce was superb. Plus I made pasta and my mom made special zucchini strips sauteed in olive oil.
The recipe is on page 96. If you want to see the recipe but not buy the book check it out of the library
Ben, this is a great blog! Makes me hungry. Keep it up!
ReplyDeleteMmm, looks yummy enough to eat! What are the 3 yellow thingies on top of the chicken? Is that cheese?
